Coaching

sports driving

Our sports driving courses are not just a lengthy theory but mainly practical driving. We prefer an individual approach to group courses. Each individual lesson depends on the customer's experience, their needs or current conditions on the track. The form, content and course of each course can vary significantly. However, we always follow a basic schedule, where each course begins with theory, practical driving on the track, during which the instructor might drive for a demonstration of 1-2 laps and most of the time is spent by coaching from passenger seat.

Of course, longer-term cooperation has the greatest effect. The instructor can proceed step by step and divide the course into several phases. Together, you will go through all the basics, including safe behavior on the race track, car preparation, explanation of concepts, teaching how to control the car at the limit, as well as advanced racing techniques.

Honza Červenka

Honza has made his mark in the hearts of real drivers as the editor-in-chief of Speed, TopGear and Autocar magazines. He is still a journalist, but he also teaches people to drive! He has been doing it for more than fourteen years and has taught many people. He is dedicated to both sports and defensive driving, he himself actively competed in endurance races in the 24h series for three years, the peak of his racing career was his participation in the VLN on the Nordschleife with the Hello Titty team.

I prefer a clean line, smoothness and fine control of the car.

Dominik Staněk

Dominik fell for driving at the limit more than 12 years ago. His home circuit is Autodrom Most, where the number of laps completed is approaching 1000, but his heart belongs to Nordschleife. He has competed 3 seasons of Miata Cup and several places in the Amateur Cup series. However, he did not only hone his driving skills on the circuit, but also on local tracks. Whether you want to be able to drive a clean line or have fun beyond the limit of grip, he will teach you to know and understand your car so that you feel good behind the wheel and have real fun.

Jakub Michalovič

Jakub has been teaching drivers for more than 16 years. He started as an instructor at a skid school on the Most polygon. However, he soon couldn't resist the local track and focused on sports driving. He is one of the instructors of the AMG Driving Academy, trains with his clients on world circuits and has himself conquered the Nordschleife. Porsche has been his passion since childhood. He drives his GT3 on the Nürburgring several times a month and is already approaching the thousand lap mark. He will teach you to drive safely, focusing on most efficient use of the car.

Pricing 1:1 coaching

The price of the course depends on the number of ordered training blocks / stints and the chosen track. As a standard, one stint lasts 40 minutes and includes a short theoretical prep before the ride, 25 minutes of riding on the track, when the instructor is in the passenger seat, and a subsequent debrief after the drive. The approach of our instructors is always individual and precisely focused on your wishes and abilities. You can also read more information about the course in our blog post. Just like registering for our trackdays, you can purchase sports driving lessons in the form of a gift voucher. The price for the instructional stints must be added to the price for registering for the selected trackday (half-day or full-day slots).

The price of one teaching stint (40 min) is 2,000 CZK excluding VAT.

CLEAN LINE

Our courses focus on various driving techniques. For example, a clean racing line, which at first glance seems very simple. But driving several consistent laps in an ideal line requires a lot of experience, a sense of precision and a lot of concentration. An inappropriate approach to a corner or a poorly chosen braking point costs precious seconds and can throw the driver off the pace. When driving on a race track, you need to know exactly what you are doing and why. Our job is to help you with this.

DRIFT & CAR CONTROL

We recommend that all our customers first get to know the limits of their car and themselves. Without being able to react to limit situations or oversteer skids, there is little point in trying to achieve fast laps on a race track. You need to know exactly how to react to oversteer at high speeds or how to handle crisis situations, for example on an oil-polluted track or in sudden rain. That is why we offer courses focused on drifting, primarily on the safe circuit in Sosnová.

Ask us...

Do you have any more questions about 1:1 coaching? Feel free to check our FAQ. In case you will not find an answer, do not hesitate to contact us.

What will I learn?

It is important to understand the rules and principles of driving on a race track. In the next steps, we learn to feel the behavior of the car. This is followed by an explanation of the ideal line, braking points and handling crisis situations. For more advanced drivers, we organize courses to achieve the best possible lap times or maximum control over the car when driving at the limit.

How do I choose an instructor?

As a standard, an instructor is recommended based on the specific route or customer requirements. However, you can also choose one at your own discretion. You can find a list of our instructors on this page.

How does the sports driving coaching work?

Our courses consist of theoretical preparation, practical driving and a final evaluation.

Theory or practice?

Our sports driving courses are very individual and we prefer them to group lessons in a classroom. That's why we always focus on a specific driver, for whom we create a tailor-made training program.

Can I rent a racing car for a sports driving course?

Yes, it's possible. We just need to know this information well in advance. The car offer varies depending on the season (depending on the weather) and the specific track.
